Christmas Table Runner #2

I have named this table runner Christmas Friendship. I made it for my friend Jan. I liked it so much that I did have thoughts of not giving it to her. But......I did give it to her. I really enjoy sharing the things I made with others that appreciate them.

Christmas Table Runner #1

This year for presents I made some snap bags and table runners. The first Christmas table runner was very easy to applique. I picked out the fabric early in the year but I cannot finish a project early. I really enjoy see a project come together. It gives me such joy to be able to share the talents that God has given me with others. I just wish that I did not have to work full time so I could quilt and create more. I am always amaze at the finished product.

Back on track

I am finally back on the quilting journey track. I finished Kara's baby quilt. I am really please with the way that it turned out. The border gave me a lot of trouble but it was well worth it. Thanks Val for all the help. Kara's quilt was put in with the Christmas box. I hope that she will enjoy it and think of her grandma as she suggles in it. The border is called stacking blocks. It is a backed with flannel.
